Care Information
General Care
Watering: Water your Lily once a week, allowing the water drain through. Overwatering is the most common reason for a lily to die. If the soil is still damp, the plant does not need to be watered. Sun: Lily's prefer light sun to partial shade. Pruning: After a flower has bloomed for a while it will naturally turn green and drop. After the flower fades the stalk will turn brown and die. Cut the stalk off as close to the base as you can. This will make room for new ones.
Planting Guidelines
Peace lily is an adaptable and low-maintenance houseplant. Peace lilies manage just fine in darker quarters such as offices and bedrooms. These items are most commonly kept potted. They make for great house plants because they thrive in indoor temperatures. Fertilize your lily 1-2 times a year.
Winter Care
Peace Lily's prefer a temperature range of 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit and humid climates. They will not withstand temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It is best to keep indoors during most of the year.
Potting & Container
Lily's are commonly kept potted. Peace lilies benefit from being repotted when they have outgrown the container. When repotting, move the plant into a container that is 2 inches larger.
