The tree is absolutely stunning and was packaged with care. My Dad and his wife were so moved by the gesture. However, the engraved tag was not as described. It wasn’t engraved at all, but printed on. After a recent rain, my dad went to take a picture of the tag for the memorial service and the engraving wiped off. I have reached out to the service email for support, but have yet to hear back. The tree is stunning though. So if I were to do it again, I would purchase the tag elsewhere so it is actually engraved.

I purchased this tree for my brother and sil in honor of their dog "Cutie Pie" It has purpose and if they keep it alive it will provide them avocados from their home.

VERY beautiful plant and macrame hanger. I am only giving 4 stars because the website allowed me to purchase the macrame hanger when in fact it was not in stock. However, the company did ship one out the following day. I would definitely order from Seeds Of Life again!

The product arrived as pictured but without any information for the recipient which is disappointing. One would think at a minimum the product would ship with the tree type and basic planting instructions. Also, purchased the hand carved cross from olive wood harvested in Bethlehem, which was a selling point, and there was no mention of that in the packaging.

Have sent 2 Meyer's Lemon Trees to different people after a loss and both expressed how nice it was and how wonderful the tree and memorial tag looked. Also sent a different tree once which came almost dead, so we switched it with a Meyer's Lemon and that one was perfect.

Love the tree. Can't wait to be able to plant it in the ground. Too cold in NJ right now. Probably should have waited to order it. It is not doing real well, a lot of the leaves have turned yellow and fallen off. It is in a pot for now, i hope it survives until spring. Just so you know, it was My mother that passed, and the tree was a gift from my best friend and her Mom. Thank you

The ordering process was pretty easy. The tree arrived very quickly to the recipient. They Love the tree.

As I sent it out of town as a memorial gift I can’t speak to how it arrived . But the recipient certainly seemed happy . My experience was straightforward from ordering to arrival I found customer service to be on pint and commutative .

I purchase many items from this website for our staff during their bereavements. I never knew until these 2 back to back orders that the person receiving it did not get a card or something showing who the sender was. I always write something thinking it will be included in the delivery and come to find out they don't get that. Thank goodness i called both recipients to tell them it was from us. This needs to be corrected. It is the only thing that kept me from giving you 5 stars.

Plant looks like it is a gardenia. I called your phone number and got vm. I left message asking what was shipped … magnolia tree would not be acceptable as we have height restrictions. If a gardenia was sent please provide care instructions.I left my phone number and email address. No response to date.So plant is beautiful but response to inquiry was non existent.BTW this is the 3rd time I’ve ordered from your company in 3 months. First 2 were fine with the appropriate care cards. This last one while the plant is beautiful I’ve yet to hear a response as to what was shipped.

This is the first time I have had a tree delivered to me and then I take to friend. I thought the tree we a not as healthy as it should have been. It was dry and leaves didn’t look great. But I know it will survive. I will still continue to use these guys. One of the bamboo poles was also damaged that secured the tree.

A little small for the price, but was very hardy and the packaging was lovely.

The plants are lovely. The plagues are a disappointing quality.

We sent this to our friend and her family, after the passing of their beloved mother. The family loved the idea and were very touched by the gift. Excellent choice for people who wish to purchase something "earth friendly". The only downfall was the shipping. It took longer than anticipated and arrived a little weary from the extra shipping time and the heat!

Beautiful large rose bush

I ordered this gift for my step mother when her sister passed away. The tree arrived right when I was told it would and it really is beautiful. The only issue was a mistake made on the tag, the wrong date was put on it. I emailed right away and a replacement tag was received within a couple of days.

The tree was as advertised. I will definitely do this again as a gift.

My friend was very surprised & grateful for the lovely potted gardenia I sent her in remembrance of her husband. She said there about 15 buds on it.I know she loves gardenias, so I know this plant will bring her a lot of joy!

I have been sending these and they are always well received. My friends have told me that this is the best condolence they received and they love that it will continue to make them smile when thinking of their loved one.My frustration lies in the note we get to write to them. Look how long that I can write this review. We, as givers, need a little more space to write our note. If we do this as a group gift I have to use initials and can barely write a proper condolence.Please adjust the amount of space, that is the only reason I can't give a 5 star. Thank you.

The recipient was very pleased with the fig tree. However the information they received did not include the type of tree. They had to ask me what kind of tree it was.

I sent the In Memory Southern Magnolia Tree (lg) to a dear friend who lost her sister to Covid. It was my first time using the Seeds of Life website and ordering on line was convenient and easy. My friend received the tree in 5 days and I was sent regular tracking updates which I appreciated. I have not seen my gift but my friend indicated the it arrived beautifully packaged and in good condition. She said it was one of the nicest gifts she received. However I was disappointed to hear that it arrived without any blossoms/flowers. For that reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I realize that it was probably due to mid March delivery but was hoping for it to look more like the photo on website. However, I would definitively use Seeds of Life again.

I have ordered from Seeds of Life many times, and those who receive them are always so impressed and grateful for the sentiment -- however, this time around I received a picture from the recipient and thought the tree looked rather sparse - nothing like the picture on the website. I expected a more robust magnolia tree.

I came across Seeds for Life because i was looking for something to send to my brother & sister-in-law to commemorate their son who passed away unexpectedly. My brother called me, upon receipt, of the oak tree to say they both cried and were very touched. The tree arrived very quickly, and i found customer service to be very helpful. The title of the company says it all. If you’re looking for a gift to help ease pain of loss, and keep the memory alive - i would definitely recommend this choice.

It was a lovely gift. My Aunt loved the idea of a living memorial for her daughter. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a disclaimer on what climate the tree can live in. Olive trees die in Texas. They’ve decided to keep it in a pot so they can bring it in during the winter. Just a little blurb about the ideal growth climate. I would have ordered another tree better suited for the weather.

I ordered the medium magnolia for a memorial when my friend’s daughter was killed tragically. The family loved this tribute for their daughter. I had received one myself, when I had a loss in my own family. It cme packaged very well, it’s a good size and it blooms twice a season.

The tree arrived in a very timely manner with good directions and in great shape. Unfortunately, it seems a deer (or some other animal) enjoyed all the branches a couple of days after I planted it. I don't know if it will survive.

The tree did not arrive in time for the funeral but the next day.(which was unfortunate but I assume that was fedex) I had the recipients send me a photo and was a little disappointed the top leaves were yellow and they had spelled the name of the deceased person on the tag wrong. However I gave them 4 star rating because their customer service was excellent .The people I spoke with were very polite understanding and told me they would replace the name tag. I would definitely like to order from them again since I like their trees

I haven't seen it but I called the recipient & asked the condition. She said some of the leaves were damaged but she thinks it will be ok. Maybe packing could be different
