What a wonderful surprise to receive this magnolia tree from my friends at Seeds of Life. It's a variety that grows well in cold climates, and has fragrant blooms in spring. The hanging metal tag reads "In loving memory of Conrad."
As luck would have it, it arrived minutes before Connie's sister-in-law and niece arrived from Queens for a visit for the day. Perfect timing for our own little unboxing ceremony. Now, where to plant it?
