Watering: If the soil is dry 2 inches below the surface, you need to water. Water once a week and increase as needed. Sun: Full sun - 6 hours full sun. Fertilizer: Every 2 months with a slow-release formula for a better fruit production.

Plant your Pepper in well-drained soil. Select an area that receives full sun. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Loosen the soil around the hole and fill with water. Fill back up with soil and water to settle the soil.

During winter months, bring your peppers indoors. Remove all pepper fruit ripe or not from the plant. Keep in the coldest and driest room next to a window or a lamp. Cut back the watering during winter months. Some leaves will fall off, this is normal. Prune your pepper to allow new growth in Spring.

Choose a 3- 5-gallon or pot/container. Insure there are ample drainage holes. Fill the pot halfway with potting mixture for peppers, remove plant from original container and fluff roots. Place your pepper in the center of the container and add more potting mixture. Press down on soil slightly and water. Place your potted pepper in an area that receives at least six or more hours of sunlight.
